Global
Shapers
The Global Shapers Community is an initiative of the World Economic Forum.

We are a diverse group of young people, driven to take action for positive change.
The Global Shapers Salzburg Hub believes in the power of its community working together to promote and create authentic positive social impact. The mission is to engage and support a diverse community of young people committed to work collectively and independently toward a more sustainable city of Salzburg - driving positive social change both locally as well as globally.

The Salzburg Hub brings together partners and institutions across Salzburg’s innovation, sustainability, and education landscape — including Coworking Salzburg, Startup Salzburg, Austrian Startups, Salzburg Global Seminar, Fridays for Future Salzburg, ÖBVP, S.A.N.E., and AI for Good. Together, they drive collaborative projects that strengthen Salzburg’s role as a forward-thinking, connected, and impact-oriented region

Through cross-sector projects and interdisciplinary collaboration, the Salzburg Hub translates ideas into tangible local impact. We connect young innovators with partners from business, academia, and civil society to co-create initiatives that strengthen sustainability, digital literacy, and civic engagement. Each project is led by small, agile teams who prototype solutions, test them in the community, and scale what works — turning vision into measurable change.

We do it to ignite sustainable impact — because lasting change starts locally. The Salzburg Hub believes that empowering young people to act on global challenges within their own communities creates ripple effects far beyond the city. By fostering innovation, inclusion, and responsibility, we aim to make Salzburg a model for how local action can drive systemic, long-term transformation

Thanks to our volunteers, friends, and partners. Thank you to our team, who made this journey possible.
